Leonard Ryan is Founder and President of Laguna Hills, Calif.-based QuestSoft Corporation, a provider of automated compliance review software for the mortgage industry. Since the company’s founding in 1995, Ryan continues to oversee strategic planning and the day-to-day operations for the company including business and software development, interface partners, sales and pricing. Carey Aimone manages the support and multi-media training for more than 2,200 QuestSoft customers nationwide. His extensive financial services and training background, forward thinking and attention to detail bring high value to QuestSoft and fuel his team earning continued client loyalty and testimonials on stellar customer service. Carey has served in key roles in the financial services industry since 1981 and with QuestSoft since 2004. Before joining QuestSoft, he held several leadership positions for 13 years at Harland Financial Solutions helping the company grow from 50 employees to over 5,000. He has trained financial institutions in all 50 states on regulatory compliance and lectured nationwide on financial industry new legislation and changing trends.

Carey has authored several important articles on compliance and training methodology and is a member of the American Society of Training and Development.

Julie Ferraro
Vice President,Operations

Julie Ferraro oversees QuestSoft’s operations including billing and payables, payroll, human resources and overall operations for the 4506-T department. Her broad operations skill sets and mortgage lending experience provide the solid foundation for managing smooth, efficient daily operations.

Julie has been involved in the mortgage industry for more than 20 years and with QuestSoft since 2007.

Prior to joining QuestSoft, she served as a senior underwriter and account manager as well as in several processing positions for mortgage companies based in the Orange County, CA area.


Loretta Kirkwood
Vice President, Compliance

Loretta is Vice President of Compliance for QuestSoft, with responsibility for the company’s Fair Lending and CRA Services.

Loretta is a regulatory compliance and risk management executive with over thirty years of experience in the financial services industry. Her most significant area of focus is fair and responsible lending risk management, including compliance management system and program development, qualitative and quantitative risk assessments, data quality management, process mapping, and staff training. Her knowledge of bank regulations, operations, and technology provide an integrated approach to assisting clients in developing and implementing effective regulatory risk management programs.

Bhavin Shah
Sr. Vice President, Product Development & Technology

Bhavin leads QuestSoft’s product development, enhancements, technology infrastructure and data security. He continues to be pivotal in advancing QuestSoft's products and technology to meet customer needs and stay ahead of the ever-changing financial regulations.

Bhavin joined QuestSoft in 2007, enjoying the challenge of developing integrations with more than 40 loan origination systems enabling efficient and effective data exchange and automated, system-to-system communication. Prior to QuestSoft, Bhavin worked as a Software Engineer for Acoustic Home Loans, SmartMedia and Steadfast Engineering. A graduate of the University of Southern California, he has a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Engineering and Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics.

Bob Simpson
Director, QuestSoft Verifications

Bob Simpson has two positions at QuestSoft, one as a company senior vice president, and the second as director overseeing QuestSoft’s newest division, QuestSoft Verifications. Bob has been an industry expert in the field of mortgage loan investigations for more than 20 years. He has vast experience in the verification and quality control business having been president of Investors Mortgage Asset Recovery Co. (IMARC) managing several hundred employees at one time, and as a successful mortgage fraud attorney providing investigation services to some of the nation’s most prominent lenders and mortgage insurance companies.

Bob has also been nationally recognized on television and through his public speaking for his expertise in the areas of mortgage credit quality and detection of fraud in lending processes and operations. IMARC was acquired by QuestSoft in September 2017.
